This privacy policy describes how Claudia A. Gabanich ("the author," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the website claudiagabanich.com and its associated services (newsletter, social-media posting tools).

What we collect

We collect the following minimal information:

• Newsletter subscription: when you sign up, we collect your email address through our email service provider, MailerLite. We do not collect any other personal information from subscribers.
• Social media authorization: the author's own social media accounts (Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Bluesky) are authorized to a small tooling app that posts on her behalf. This is a creator-only tool. No subscriber or visitor data is processed by it.
• Website analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-preserving and does not use cookies or fingerprinting. No personally identifiable information is collected.

How we use it

We use your email address only to send the newsletter you signed up for, including book announcements, cover reveals, ARC opportunities, and bonus material. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties.

Third-party services

We use the following third parties:

• MailerLite (email service) — see their privacy policy
• Cloudflare (hosting, DNS, analytics) — see their privacy policy
• Meta (Instagram, Threads) — used by the author for her own social posting; no subscriber data is shared with Meta

Your rights

You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. You may request to see, correct, or delete your data by emailing hello@claudiagabanich.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Data retention

We retain email addresses for as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter. Upon unsubscribe, your email is removed from the active list. We do not retain it for marketing purposes.

Children

Our books are written for adult readers (18+) and our services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
